CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mayor Devine at 4:03 p.m. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 19-0808 November 13, 2019 (draft) Minutes Attachments: 11-13-19 (draft) Minutes A motion was made by Mr. Gracyalny, seconded by Ms. Fonaas, that the minutes of the November 13, 2019 meeting be approved. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 2. 19-0809 Consideration relative to the Financial Report for the period ending 12/10/19 presented by Devan Gracyalny, Vice Chair/Treasurer Mr. Gracyalny reported that as of December 10, 2019, the balance on hand is $5,749.74. A motion was made by Mr. Nazer, seconded by Ms. Fonaas, that the Financial Report be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Mayor Devine, Ms. Fonaas, Mr. Gracyalny, Ms. Hart, Mr. Nazer, Mr. Noll, and Ms. Wolfe No: 0 E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION 3. 19-0810 Report from the West Allis Historical Society Mr. Gracyalny reported that the Christmas Open House was well attended. The children had a great time decorating the tree. Log Schoolhouse Nothing to report. B. Seneca Station Nothing to report. C. Social Media Updates The Historical Society posted information on the 6771 W. National Avenue (former Kearney & Trecker) building. The post received over 13,000 views. 5. 19-0812 Discussion relative to proposed demolition of the building located at 1126 S. 70 St., former Allis-Chalmers office space The Commission discussed how to honor the historic past of this building. 6. 19-0813 Discussion relative to proposed historic preservation of 6771 W. National Ave., former Kearney & Trecker Co. Mr. Mueller discussed with the Commission the role the Historical Commission had in the preservation of this historic building. 7. 19-0815 Discussion relative to the application received for proposed Local Landmark Status for the West Allis Post Office located at 7440 W. Greenfield Ave. Mr. Gracyalny completed the application for Local Landmark Status for the West Allis Post Office located at 7440 W. Greenfield Ave. An official Resolution to determine local historic landmark status will be placed on a future agenda. F.
