CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mr. Gracyalny at 4:06 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 6- Sarah Fonaas, Devan Gracyalny, Barbara Hart, Ray Nazer, John Noll, and Patricia Wolfe Excused 1- Mayor Dan Devine C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 20-0006 December 11, 2019 (draft) Minutes Attachments: 12-11-19 (draft) Minutes A motion was made by Fonaas, seconded by Hart, that the minutes of the December 11, 2019 meeting be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Fonaas, Gracyalny, Hart, Nazer, Noll, and Wolfe No: 0 D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 2. 20-0007 Consideration relative to the Financial Report for the period ending 1/7/20 presented by Devan Gracyalny, Vice Chair/Treasurer A motion was made by Hart, seconded by Nazer, that the Financial Report be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Fonaas, Gracyalny, Hart, Nazer, Noll, and Wolfe No: 0 E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION 3. 20-0008 Report from the West Allis Historical Society This matter was discussed under agenda item number 6. 4. 20-0009 Status Reports - Historical Commission Projects and Activities A. Log Schoolhouse Mice continue to be a problem at the Log Schoolhouse. It was suggested to look into the purchase of "Cab Fresh" (sold at Farm & Fleet) to deter mice from entry into the schoolhouse. Social Media Updates Nothing to report 5. 20-0010 Discussion relative to potential event regarding the demolition of the building located at 1126 S. 70 St., former Allis-Chalmers office space Ms. Fonaas reported that the Mayor & Tony Giron, Planning Department, walked through the old tunnel located under Allis Chalmers and S. 70 St. Pictures were posted on Facebook. 6. 20-0011 Proposed Historical Site at approximately S. 99 - S. 100 St. and W. Greenfield Ave., regarding potential placement of May Eliza Wright Sewall plaque A motion was made by Hart, seconded by Wolfe, to pursue local historical landmark status and permanently mount the plaque. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Fonaas, Gracyalny, Hart, Nazer, Noll, and Wolfe No: 0 F. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Mr. Noll to adjourn the meeting at 4:44 p.m. The motion carried unanimously. All meetings of the {bdName} are public meetings.
