CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mayor Devine at 4:11 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 5- Mayor Dan Devine, Barbara Hart, Devan Gracyalny, Ray Nazer, and Patricia Wolfe Excused 2- Sarah Fonaas, and John Noll Others Attending Shaun Mueller, Economic Development Project Manager C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 21-0321 July 21, 2021 (draft) Minutes Attachments: 7-21-21 (draft) Minutes A motion was made by Mr. Nazer, seconded by Ms. Hart, that the minutes of the July 21, 2021 meeting be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Mayor Devine, Hart, Gracyalny, Nazer, and Wolfe No: 0 D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 2. 21-0322 Consideration relative to the Financial Report for the period ending 8/10/21 presented by Devan Gracyalny, Vice Chair/Treasurer Mr. Gracyalny reported that the current balance on hand is $6,268.29. A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Ms. Wolfe, that the Financial Report be Approved with a motion to reimburse Mr. Gracyalny $40.00 for the purchase of lights. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION 3. 21-0323 Report from the West Allis Historical Society The 1840 Brewing, Traveling Beer Garden Event took place on Saturday, August 7th. Log Schoolhouse Nothing to report. B. Seneca Station Nothing to report C. Social Media Update Nothing to report 5. 21-0325 Discussion regarding the design and contracting for the new doors on the Historical Society building, funded through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds On the recommendation of Acker Millwork and staff, an order for the doors will be placed. 6. 21-0326 Discussion regarding restarting the Log Schoolhouse Field Trips for the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District for the 2022 school year Shaun Mueller will be following up on this item. The customizing of a field trip was also discussed. 7. 21-0327 Discussion regarding the Honey Creek Cemetery Lois Pocian, Alderperson Roadt and Peter Daniels met at the Cemetery yesterday to discuss a potential project scope. A surveyor will plot out on a plan and details will be added to the plan. Lastly, Mike Rushmer, City Forester will be contacted to get an estimate. F. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Mr. Nazer, seconded by Mr. Gracyalny, to adjourn the meeing at 4:25 p.m. This matter was Approved.
