City of West Allis Meeting Minutes Historical Commission Wednesday, October 13, 2021 4:10 PM City Hall, Art Gallery 7525 W. Greenfield Ave. REGULAR MEETING A. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mr. Gracyalny at 4:10 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 4- Barbara Hart, Devan Gracyalny, Ray Nazer, and Patricia Wolfe Excused 3- Mayor Dan Devine, Sarah Fonaas, and John Noll Others Attending Shaun Mueller, Development Project Manager C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 21-0465 September 8, 2021 (draft) Minutes Attachments: 9-8-21 Minutes A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Mr. Nazer that the minutes of the September 8, 2021 meeting be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Hart, Gracyalny, Nazer, and Wolfe No: 0 D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 2. 21-0466 Consideration relative to the Financial Report for the period ending 10/12/21 presented by Devan Gracyalny, Vice Chair/Treasurer Mr. Gracyalny reported that the current balance on hand is $6,268.79. A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Mr. Nazer that the Financial Report be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Hart, Gracyalny, Nazer, and Wolfe No: 0 E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION 3. 21-0467 Report from the West Allis Historical Society Mr. Gracyalny reported that a new gum ball machine display is at the West Allis Historical Society. Log Schoolhouse Ms. Hart reported that the roof has been repaired. In addition, Mr. Gracyalny mentioned that there will not be an annual historical society meeting this year. Mr. Mueller reported that the Log Schoolhouse will close for the winter at the end of October. B. Seneca Station There was nothing new to report. C. Social Media Updates There was nothing new to report. 5. 21-0469 Discussion regarding the design and contracting for the new doors on the Historical Society building Mr. Gracyalny informed the committee that it will take 11 weeks, once the doors are ordered. 6. 21-0470 Discussion regarding the Honey Creek Cemetery No updates were given at this time. F. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Mr. Nazer to adjourn the meeting at 4:52 p.m. The motion carried unanimously. All meetings of the {bdName} are public meetings. In order for the general public to make comments at the committee meetings, the individual(s) must be scheduled (as an appearance) with the chair of the committee or the appropriate staff contact; otherwise, the meeting of the committee is a working session for the committee itself, and discussion by those in attendance is limited to committee members, the mayor, other alderpersons, staff and others that may be a party to the matter being discussed.
