R-2014-0358 Resolution to approve bid of Poblocki Paving Corporation for the construction of an asphalt parking lot, permeable interlocking concrete pavement system, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, pavement marking, landscaping and utility adjustments in the Chalet Parking Lot located at the 6200 Block of W. National Avenue in the City of West Allis in the amount of $199,077.00 Sponsors: Public Works Committee Attachments: 2014-20 Bid Results A motion was made by Ald. Weigel, seconded by Ald. Reinke, that this matter was Recommended For Adoption. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. Barczak, Ald. Weigel, Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Reinke, and Ald. Roadt No: 0 18. 2014-0699 Communication from Director of Public Works/City Engineer regarding Winter Services at 2100 South 116th Street. Attachments: 2014-0699 This matter was Held. 19. O-2014-0071 An Ordinance to Amend Subsection 10.11(2)(a) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code to Remove South 116th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Rogers Street from List of Emergency Thoroughfares During Snowstorms. Roadt No: 0 21. 2014-0625 Communication from Principal Engineer regarding the deteriorated Root River Parkway pedestrian path. Attachments: COMM-2014-0625 A motion was made by Ald. Roadt, seconded by Ald. Weigel, that this matter was Recommended For Approval. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. Barczak, Ald. Weigel, Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Reinke, and Ald. ADJOURNMENT All meetings of the Common Council are public meetings. In order for the general public to make comments at the committee meetings, the individual(s) must be scheduled (as an appearance) with the chair of the committee or the appropriate staff contact; otherwise, the meeting of the committee is a working session for the committee itself, and discussion by those in attendance is limited to committee members, the mayor, other alderpersons, staff and others that may be a party to the matter being discussed.
