CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Barczak called the recess meeting to order. B. ROLL CALL Present 5- Ald. Barczak, Ald. Weigel, Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Reinke, and Ald. Roadt C. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 17. R-2015-0116 Resolution authorizing and directing the City Engineer to enter into a State/Municipal Agreement for a Water Main Improvement Project with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the design, construction and other related work for the relocation of two water mains underneath Interstate Highway 894 at W. Lincoln Avenue and at W. Becher Street. Sponsors: Public Works Committee Attachments: R-2015-0116 A motion was made by Ald. Reinke, seconded by Ald. Weigel, that this matter was Recommended For Adoption. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. Barczak, Ald. Weigel, Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Reinke, and Ald. Roadt No: 0 18. R-2015-0119 Resolution to amend the Policies and Procedures Section 2202, Building and Sign Division of the Department of Public Works, to include a procedure for the public to request the placement or replacement of a “No Parking Within 4 Feet of Drive” or “No Parking Between Driveways” sign, as approved by the City Engineer, for a fee of $150. Sponsors: Public Works Committee A motion was made by Ald. Roadt, seconded by Ald. Weigel, that this matter was Recommended For Adoption. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. O-2015-0028 An Ordinance to Amend Subsection 7.12(9) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to Banning Dogs at City Parks and Playgrounds. R-2015-0106 Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Purple Cow Organics, LLC, for providing yard waste management services for a five year period for an estimated sum of $1,022,000. Hayes Ave. from S. 92 St. to S. 95 St., S. 95 St. from W. Lincoln Ave. to W. Hayes Ave. and portions of intersecting streets by minor asphalt resurfacing with miscellaneous sidewalk repair, miscellaneous driveway repair, building services and utility adjustments. Sponsors: Public Works Committee This matter was Recommended For Adoption on a Block Vote 24. R-2015-0123 Final Resolution authorizing public improvement by minor asphalt resurfacing with miscellaneous sidewalk repair, miscellaneous driveway repair, building services and utility adjustments in W. Hayes Ave. from S. 92 St. to S. 95 St., S. 95 St. from W. Lincoln Ave. to W. Hayes Ave. and portions of intersecting streets and levying special assessments against benefited properties. In order for the general public to make comments at the committee meetings, the individual(s) must be scheduled (as an appearance) with the chair of the committee or the appropriate staff contact; otherwise, the meeting of the committee is a working session for the committee itself, and discussion by those in attendance is limited to committee members, the mayor, other alderpersons, staff and others that may be a party to the matter being discussed.
