of 2015 Project No. 9.

concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, driveway
replacement, sanitary sewer, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer, storm sewer relay,
water main relay, building services and utility adjustments in W. Rogers St. from S.
56th St. to S. 60th St. and W. Madison St. from S. 60th St. to S. 65th St. in the City
of West Allis in the amount of $2,409,840.80.

driveway repair, narrowing of pavement, storm sewer, storm sewer relay, sanitary
sewer relay, water main relay, building services and utility adjustments.

Avenue and portions of intersecting streets and levying special assessments against
benefited properties.

D. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION
2017-0196 Discussion of Recycling/Garbage Issues.
Discussion continued with further review and status updates of the proposals received from
ReCommunity (City of Milwaukee), John’s Disposal and Allied Resource (West Allis Salvage).
The final selection is difficult since the Board members are not really comparing “apples to
apples”. There are numerous intangibles with all the proposals that are difficult to estimate and
predict. The Board asked for some further information and clarification. The Board did authorize
the Director of Public Works to finalize the purchasing of recycling carts and make arrangement
for delivery.
This matter was Discussed.
