REGULAR MEETING WEST HAVEN BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS November 17, 2015 The Regular Meeting of the West Haven Board of Police Commissioners was held on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at Police Headquarters, 200 Saw Mill Road, West Haven, Ct. Present were Commissioners, R.K. Smith, Deborah Wright, Paul Butler Jr, and Andrew Giaquinto. Also present were Deputy Chief Joseph Perno, Det/Sgt Walter Casey, and Brent Watt, Council Liaison. Commissioner Raymond Collins and Chief Karajanis were absent. After the Pledge of Allegiance, Chairperson Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00PM. 1. Minutes of November 3, 2015 There were no corrections/additions made to the Minutes of November 3, 2015. A motion was presented by Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Giaquinto to accept the Minutes and approved unanimously. 2. Public Input Sgt. Walter Casey spoke in regards to promoting another to Det/Sgt. Sgt. Casey also spoke on having a Commissioner sit in on their negotiation of contract. 3. Gregory Cerritelli 4. Report of the Chief Budget 5. Old Business—None 6. New Business 6.1 Ordinance Violation Hearing – Frank Vieire – Chickens in yard Tabled till December 15th, 2015. Due to Planning and Zoning. 6.2 Tree Lighting on The Green – Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 5PM – 9PM. 6.3 Mayor Edward M. O’Brien Inauguration on December 6, 2015, 10AM -2PM 7. Pension Board --None 8. Report of Committees – Personnel Committee - None 9. Commissioners Reports – None 10. Executive Session – Entered into Executive Session at 7:21PM.
