VILLAGE OF WESTON, MARATHON COUNTY, WISCONSIN SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES Monday, August 22, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. AGENDA ITEMS 1. Board of Trustees Meeting called to order by President Maloney Maloney called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. Pledge Allegiance to the Flag 3. Roll Call by Clerk Trustee Present Ermeling, Barb YES Fiene, Nate YES Maloney, Mark YES Cronin, Steve YES Weiland, Jamie EXCUSED Hartinger, Jasper YES Zeyghami, Hooshang YES MOVE TO CLOSED SESSION President Maloney announced that the Village Board would be convening into Closed Session at 6:02 p.m. pursuant to Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(g), in order to confer with legal counsel for the Village who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the Village with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved – to wit continued confidential mediation in Village of Weston v. SBA Towers Marathon County Case #2018CV000119; and, Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(e); for deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session – to wit continued confidential mediation in Village of Weston v. SBA Towers Marathon County Case #2018CV000119. Motion by Cronin, second by Fiene to convene into Closed Session at 6:04 p.m. pursuant to Wis.
