6. Discussion and/or action on Weston Avenue Construction Redesign (on recording

Wodalski stated that AECOM looked into adding the sidewalk on the right-of-way and
it does not appear that is possible. Additional purchases of right-of-way would have to
be made and property owners are not willing to sell their property.
Motion by Ermeling, second by Cronin to authorize staff to work with AECOM to
redesign Weston Avenue from CR-X to Ryan Street to remove the multi-use path
from the north side of the road and add additional width to the shoulders.

7. Discussion and/or action on Friends of Kennedy Park Logo (on recording
https://youtu.be/kBiEuiKoSZg?t=537)
Osterbrink explained that for future fundraising, a logo was being worked on for
marketing materials. Two examples were provided to the Parks Committee and a
recommendation was made to remove the top section which resembles the Weston
and Marathon County logo and utilize that space to make it sport specific, for example,
place hockey skates or other sporting equipment at the top of the logo. Cronin asked

why there were two different logos. Osterbrink stated that if it is renovation, that would
be used but down the road if there is something different being fundraised for, the other
logo could be used.
Motion by Ermeling, second by Zeyghami to recommend the use of the Friends
of Kennedy Park logo with the removal of the half-moon and allow the Friends of
Kennedy Park to put in whatever they determine.

8. Discussion and/or action on Friends of Kennedy Park Agreement with the Community
Foundation of Central Wisconsin (on recording https://youtu.be/kBiEuiKoSZg?t=867)
Osterbrink stated this would be a percentage retained for administrative purposes of
the Foundation. Pinsonneault asked to clarify that the percentage was just on funds
raised and Osterbrink agreed.
Motion by Ermeling, second by Zeyghami to approve the agreement with the
Community Foundation.

9. Discussion and action on Kennedy Park Engineering Proposals (on recording

Osterbrink stated three proposals were made and reviewed.
Motion by Weiland, second by Ermeling to approve awarding the Kennedy Park
Engineering contract to REI for a cost of $76,600.00.

legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning
strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become
involved to wit: Marathon County Case No. 2022-CV-426.

REMARKS FROM TRUSTEES
Pinsonneault was grateful that staff placed on social media the event which was provided a permit
for Arrow Bar. He stated that the grass at the municipal center does not look well.
REMARKS FROM THE PRESIDENT
Maloney remarked that staff is moving forward with holding the contractor accountable for the
grass at the municipal center.
