Entirety of North Horseshoe Drive and South Horseshoe Drive in the Everest
Hilltop Addition, Village of Weston, Wisconsin.
Higgins explained that there was a subdivision platted on the east side of Alderson
St. on the corner of Weston Ave. Since that Plat, the property remained vacant with
unimproved roads and lots that were never developed. The owner is looking at
selling the property, but the purchaser would like to purchase the entire property of
about 20 acres. Since the Plat is over 20 years old, this results in a different process
in vacating the Plat and streets. The Board would need to adopt a resolution
vacating the streets and that would accompany the petition to the Circuit Court to
vacate the Plat. The purchaser of the property would be responsible then for moving
forward with further action.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS (on recording https://youtu.be/TCrwra2sJ28?t=2122)
45. Discussion and/or action on the Possible Revision to the Lease Agreement with the
Town of Weston at 5209 Mesker Street
Gebert stated this item was on the agenda as the Village has been having the
conversation with the Town to update the lease and before a draft lease is presented,

would like to revisit some items and goals for a renegotiated lease. Utilities used by
the Town would be difficult to determine, and they are likely a very small amount in
comparison to the overall building, a flat per diem would be a good option. The rental
amount for 2025 is $4,868.63 and in addition, the Town is responsible for a payment of
phone and internet of $1,395.67. Discussion was held by the Board that in addition to
the rental charge and per diem for phone and internet, there could also be a charge
included for the use of the meeting room for the 12 Town meetings per year plus the
number of elections which are held each year at an amount similar to $30 per use.
