CITY OF WILLARD BOARD OF ALDERMEN-SPECIAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2008 6:00 P.M. Board present: Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft; Aldermen Joe Cosby; Aldermen Louie Amodeo; Aldermen Paul C. Hood; Aldermen Bryan Vincent. Aldermen Richard Simpson and Aldermen Dale Duvall were not present. Also in attendance: Deputy City Clerk, Kate Gould; CFO, Karen Robson; and City Attorney Representative, Sativa Boatman-Sloan. Guest present: Kate Vincent. Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft called the meeting to order. Roll Call Aldermen Simpson--------; Aldermen Cosby-present; Aldermen Amodeo-present; Mayor Schoolcraft-present; Aldermen Hood-present; Aldermen Duvall--------; Aldermen Vincent- present. Aldermen Simpson and Aldermen Duvall were not present. Carrothers Contract Attorney Sativa Boatman-Sloan described the contract with Carrothers Construction for the Willard Aquatic Center to the Board of Aldermen. Motion made by Aldermen Amodeo with a second by Aldermen Cosby to approve the Mayor signing the contract with Carrothers Construction Company. Aldermen Cosby-I, Aldermen Amodeo-I, Aldermen Hood-I, Aldermen Vincent-I. All votes yes. Motion carried. Carrothers Construction Company LLC Contract BILL NO. 08-21 ORDINANCE NO. 080904 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WILLARD AND CARROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LLC. First reading by Deputy City Clerk, Kate Gould Motion made by Aldermen Cosby with second by Aldermen Amodeo to approve the first reading. Aldermen Cosby-I, Aldermen Amodeo-I, Aldermen Hood-I, Aldermen Vincent-I. All votes yes. Motion carried. Second reading by Deputy City Clerk, Kate Gould.
