Commission Meeting

June 15, 2022 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on June 15, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary, Lisa Hedstrom and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Hedstrom and seconded Clausen to approve the minutes of the last regular meeting (6-01-22) as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Hedstrom to approve the second reading and final passage to the updates to ordinance 8.0608 Application for Liquor License. All present voted aye, motion carried. The City did not budget to have sidewalks replaced in 2022 as discusses at the June 5, 2022 meeting. A request will be sent to the Sales and Use Tax Board for $26,830.56 to cover the cost of replacing the sidewalks at the Wilton Pond. The cost of the snow plow came in over the budgeted amount. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to take the additional $3,072.00 from the Equipment Replacement Fund. All present voted aye, motion carried. The final cost of the new snowplow is $18,072.00. Motion made by Hedstrom and seconded by Kary to approve the gaming application for Dollars for Scholars as present. All present voted aye, motion carried. Rodney Peterson inquired if he could purchase the roll top desked owned by the City. The Board agreed the desk should not be sold. Peterson was not present. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Hedstrom to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Kary, Hedstrom and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Absent: Comm. Schacher. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion Pres.
