Commission Meeting

September 7, 2022 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on September 7, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at the city Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Schacher and seconded Kary to approve the minutes of the last regular meeting (8-17- 22) as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Schacher to approve the minutes of the special meeting held on August 16, 2022 as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to approve the minutes of the special meeting held on August 31, 2022 as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to purchase a valve exerciser, with the funds to be withdrawn from the water CD. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to purchase a John Deere 5060E Utility Tractor for $48,638.44. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to put the 2000 John Deere 4600 Utility Tractor for sale on bid. All present voted aye, motion carried. The bids will be opened at the October 19, 2022 meeting. Andrew Cochran notified the City by phone on August 25, 2022 he will not be continuing appealing his denied building permit for a Quonset/carport. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Schacher to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Kary, Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Absent: Comm. Hedstrom. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion Pres.
