September 21, 2022 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on September 21, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the city Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Schacher and seconded Clausen to approve the minutes of the last regular meeting (9- 7-22) as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to approve the agenda with the addition of bid proposal under old business. All present voted aye, motion carried. Public works supervisor, Dean Larson, stated that he was contacted by a septic company inquiring about using the Wilton lagoons to empty septic trucks while working in the area. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Kary to charge $50.00 fee to empty septic trucks into the lagoon. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to approve Tand Constructions application for payment for the 2022 Street and Utility Improvement Project. All present voted aye, motion carried. Total amount being requested is $187.118.11. Motion made by Kary and seconded Hedstrom to hire Lillis Electric to repair the electrical issues at the Soo Depot. All present voted aye, motion carried. The estimated cost of the repairs is $3,190.00. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to use funds from the donation the City received from the Washburn American Legion for the Soo Depot repairs. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and second by Kary to approve Darren Sharp and Madison Leidys request to move a 2022 modular home to 502 Minnesota Avenue. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to approve the gaming application for the Sacred Heart Church to conduct a raffle and bingo on October 2, 2022 at the Wilton Memorial Hall. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to approve the gaming application for the Wilton Athletic Booster to conduct a raffle on September 23, 2022 at the South Park. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to approve paying the Refunding Improvement Bond of 2014 payment of $6,860.00, Refunding Improvement Bond of 2013 payment of $4,070.00 and the Water and Sewer Bond of 2006 payment of $1,390.00. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Schacher to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Kary, Hedstrom, Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion Pres.
