October 19, 2022 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on October 19, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the city Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Hedstrom and seconded by Schacher to approve the agenda with the addition of Tand Construction under old business. All present voted aye, motion carried. The City received six (6) sealed bids for the 2000 John Deere 4600 tractor. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to accept the bid from Kelly Maas for $11,000.00. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Hedstrom and seconded by Kary to approve the pay request from Tand Construction for $388,528.87. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to approve lending the tables and chairs from the Memorial Hall to Pheasants Forever, Delta Waterfowl and the Wilton School when requested. Events at the hall will get priority use of the tables and chairs. All present voted aye, motion carried. A letter will be sent to the Wilton School giving them until November 4, 2022 to secure the open basements located at 217 Dakota Avenue and 200 N. 6th Street. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Kary to approve the gaming application for the Wilton Archery Team to conduct a raffle from December 1, 2022 to February 11, 2023 and the gaming application for the Wilton Lions Club to conduct Bingo and a raffle from November 19, 2022 to December 10, 2022. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Clausen to approve the McLean County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan. All Present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Clausen to approve submitting 309 Bismarck Avenues former renter, Jeremy Knight, into collection for the past due water bill of $52.13. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Hedstrom and seconded by Schacher to assess the following bill to property taxes if it is not paid by October 28, 2022, including any new charges and penalties: Owner Parcel Service Current Amount Due Adam Aarhus 82000100017000 Water Bill $397.58 The American Legion donated $2,000 the City of Wilton for Trunk or Treat event. The City issued a check for the same amount to the Women of Wilton to purchase the food and other supplies needed for the community meal. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Kary, Hedstrom, Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion Pres.
