Commission Meeting

December 21, 2022 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on December 21, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the city Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to approve the minutes from December 7, 2022 meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. The contractors report and environmental report for the 2023 Utility Improvement Project were presented to the Commission for review. Both reports were prepared by Moore Engineering. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to approve Tand Construction request for payment for the sum of $278,954.26. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to approve gaming application submitted by Delta Waterfowl to conduct a raffle on January 21, 2023 at the Wilton Memorial Hall. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher to declare a snow emergency. All present voted aye, motion carried. Declaring a snow emergency will allow the City to qualify for FEMA money if funds become available. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Hedstrom to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Hedstrom, Schacher, and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Absent: Comm. Kary. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion Pres.
