Commission Meeting

September 6 2023 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on September 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to approve the minutes from August 16, 2023 meeting as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Kary to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Discussion was held about the old stairway under the sidewalk at 28 Dakota and who should be responsible for the cost of repairs. Property owners Matt and Marlene Notch were present and City Engineer, AJ Tuck was on speaker phone. An agreement was not reached. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Kary to advertise for bids to demolish and remove the structure located at 314 South 4th Street. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Kary to approve DoxoDirect to make ACH payments to the City of Wilton for water bill payments. All present voted aye, motion carried. General discussion was held about the CO2 pipeline. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to approve painting a mural on the east side of the Memorial Hall for the 125th celebration. Aye: Clausen, Kary, Hedstrom and Schacher. Abstain: Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Kary to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Klary, Hedstrom, Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion, Pres.
