Adjourn MINUTES The Mayor called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Deputy Mayor Mace. Members Present: Mayor Seth Leonard Councilors: Eric Covey, Nicole Mace, Hal Colston, Kristine Lott Officers Present: Jessie Baker, City Manager; Carol Barrett, City Clerk; Angela Aldieri, Staff Accountant; Jon Rauscher, Public Works Director; Heather Carrington, Economic Development Director; Eric Vorwald, Planning and Zoning Manager; Paul Sarne, Communications Coordinator. Others Present: Robert Millar, Housing Commission; David Brizendine, Pat Everts, Sandy Lecuyer, Pallas Ziporyn, Planning Commission; Nykia Hunter, Shane Celis, Claire Matte, Maurice Matte, Adam Godder, Eden Ciders; Deborah Ragione, Eleanor Leger, Eden Cider; Brenda Dupuis, Cindy Robare, Mike O’Brien; Caroline Smith, Josiah Bergeron, Jessica Bridge, Housing Commission, Lauren Sampson, Planning Commission. III. Regular Items: a. Approval: 1st Class Liquor License and Restaurant License Eden Ice Cider Company, Inc. 41 Main St. The City Manager said this establishment would be located just down from the former OAK 45 space. We welcome Eden Ice Cider Co. Eleanor Leger owner of Eden Ice Cider is located in the North East Kingdom. A little over two years ago, August 6, 2018 Winooski City Council we have grown slowly and steadily. We are a very small boutique Cider Maker. We have a national reputation; we have won many awards and have distribution in about 15 to 16 States. We decided we needed to up our game in VT and come to where the people are. Our production facility will still be in Newport. We wanted to come to Chittenden County and we chose Winooski. Misery Loves Co and Mule are one of our best customers. MOTION by Councilor Mace seconded by Councilor Colston to approve the 1st Class Liquor License to Eden Ice Cider Co., Inc. and Restaurant License as presented. Voted and passed 4-0. MOTION by Councilor Mace seconded by Councilor Lott to adjourn the Liquor Control meeting at 6:05 p.m. Voted and passed 4-0.
