III. Public Comment
Presentation: Elaine Ezerins of the Winooski Partnership for Prevention
Visual presentation of the different types of tobacco and alcohol ads found outdoors around Winooski. A document was also presented
about municipalities regulating tobacco and alcohol advertisements showing that it can be done through zoning or through an ordinance.

VI. Review of Proposed Amendments – Form Based Code Siting Standards
Discussion around allowing set backs, do we want to allow developments to have set backs, what percentage of frontage may be set
back? What do we want to see in the set backs? Do we want a minimum and maximum allowance for setbacks? Eric will continue to work
on developing language that reflects this discussion.
VII. Review of Form-Based Code Architectural/Building Form Standards
Eric asked PC to read the document he provided and to consider the highlighted areas with regard to architecture and materials.
VIII. Department and City Updates
Eric presented an updated work plan. The city received a notice that there was an air quality report for Whitcomb’s Quarry. The municipal
Planning Grant will be submitted on 10/1, it will be used for a historical structures inventory. Update on the Mansion project. Mayor Lott
updated PC on Vtrans grant and Northern Borders Commission grant. The Mayor also mentioned other commissions that are looking for
new members.
