Review Conceptual Park Designs for Parks and Open Space - Online survey on City website - Interpreters are in the room. - Charged with designing Winooski parks system - See presentation on City website: http://www.winooskivt.gov/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Item/2411?fileID=2438 Questions/Ideas: l Will our taxes be inpaced by all these park upgrades? - No, this grant funds park planning, but there is no timeline or current funds for actually building these parks/improvements. l Is there a plan for indoor recreation/gym? - This plan focuses on outdoor spaces, although we acknowledge this is a need. l Art is a draw, as is food, so any of these parks can include art walks, public sculpture, etc. l All parks have universal accessibility either in part or in whole. l Stormwater mitigation/impervious approach will be considered in the  l Is there a plan for indoor recreation/gym? - This plan focuses on outdoor spaces, although we acknowledge this is a need. l Art is a draw, as is food, so any of these parks can include art walks, public sculpture, etc. l All parks have universal accessibility either in part or in whole. l Stormwater mitigation/impervious approach will be considered in the design/ongoing planning. l Paths are planned to be 12-feet wide l Other questions about park details were answered by Omnes team. l Reminder from Ray Coffey: A survey will be distributed after tonight’s meeting to share your feedback.
