Box A * Withee, Wisconsin 54498 The Village of Withee Board met on March 10, 2025, in the Municipal Building, Conference Room at 6:30 pm for the regular board meeting. ROLL CALL-President Lindgren called the meeting to order. Roll call was answered by Trustees Lindgren, Shelton, Mueller, Kroeplin, and Kalepp. Clerk Niemi recorded the minutes. Also, present were DPW Derek Schad, Larry T. Klabon, Mary Roseijka, and Cindy Cardinal. MINUTES-A Shelton/Kalepp motion to approve the minutes of the February 10, 2025, regular meeting carried with all ayes. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS-A Kalepp/Kroeplin motion to approve the monthly financial statements for the General, Water, and Sewer Accounts carried with all ayes. PAYMENT OF BILLS-A Shelton/Mueller motion to approve paying the General Account checks 37178 thru 37212; Water Account checks 7483 thru 7496; and Sewer Account check 2608 thru 2612, with updating chk#37208 to $3,762.65 carried with all ayes. PAYROLL REPORT- The board reviewed the employee time cards and payroll report. DPW Schad had extra hours from snowplowing and water leak at a vacant home. COMMUNITY INPUT-Rosiejka complained about the plugged culvert and trash accumulating at 705 Clover Street. COMMITTEE REPORTS-Trustee Kroeplin reported the library board meets tomorrow, and he got the Tootsie Rolls. Trustee Shelton reported the police committee meets March 18th at 5 pm. POLICE REPORT-A Kalepp/Mueller motion to approve police bills paid 1/23/25-3/05/2025 carried with all ayes. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS-Schad took care of a water leak at a vacant home and the sewer sleeve was installed on Mill Street. When the chemical pumps arrive, Schad will install, and B&M will return to fine- tune the VFD on well #3 and the chemical pumps. GENERAL DEPARTMENT-A Kalepp/Kroeplin motion to set the Open Book for April 23, 2025 (virtual) and Board of Review for April 30, 2025, from 5-7 pm carried with all ayes. A Kalepp/Mueller motion to approve investing $50,000 from the General Checking account and $200,000 from the Water Checking account into the LGIP carried with all ayes. A Kalepp/Mueller motion to adjourn at 6:46 pm carried with all ayes.
