Box A * Withee, Wisconsin 54498 The Village of Withee Board met on April 14, 2025, in the Municipal Building, Conference Room at 6:30 pm for the regular board meeting. ROLL CALL-President Lindgren called the meeting to order. Roll call was answered by Trustees Lindgren, Shelton, Mueller, Kroeplin, and Kalepp. Clerk Niemi recorded the minutes. Also, present were Larry Klabon, Nancy Amacher, Mary Rosiejka, Officer Scheffler, Chief Fehlman, and Cindy Cardinal. MINUTES-A Kalepp/Mueller motion to approve the minutes of the March 10, 2025, regular meeting carried with all ayes. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS-A Shelton/Kroeplin motion to approve the monthly financial statements for the General, Water, and Sewer Accounts carried with all ayes. PAYMENT OF BILLS-A Kroeplin/Kalepp motion to approve paying the General Account checks 37213 thru 37239, Water Account checks 7497 thru 7508, and Sewer Account checks 2613 thru 2615 and online payments as presented carried with all ayes. PAYROLL REPORT-The board reviewed the employee time cards and payroll report. COMMUNITY INPUT-There was no community input. COMMITTEE REPORT-Trustee Kroeplin said the library board is finishing wrapping Tootsie Rolls. POLICE REPORT-Chief Fehlman reported there have been cases of animals at large, fraud, and school truancy. A Shelton/Mueller motion to approve the police bills from 3/17/25 to 3/19/25 carried with all ayes. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS-DPW Schad is on vacation. Trustee Shelton wanted more information about endwalls vs big rocks for the culverts which Schad will have to answer. A Kroeplin/Kalepp motion to approve the draft culvert ordinance and send to the attorney for review carried with all ayes. GENERAL DEPARTMENT-A Kalepp/Mueller motion to approve an operator license for Bryan Kell carried with all ayes. A Kalepp/Shelton motion to amend the EO Johnson maintenance agreement contract for 4/24/25- 4/24/26 to an annual allotment instead of quarterly, carried with all ayes. The board was informed that Nancy Amacher was elected to replace outgoing Trustee Mueller, and Larry Klabon was elected to replace outgoing President Lindgren at the April 1st election. A Kalepp/Shelton motion to schedule the organizational meeting for April 30, 2025, at 7 pm, immediately following the BOR meeting carried with all ayes. A Kalepp/Kroeplin motion to remove Everett Lindgren and approve Larry Klabon as signer on all Forward Bank accounts, effective April 15, 2025, carried with all ayes. Retiring President, Everett Lindgren, was recognized and thanked for his 16 years of service. A Mueller/Kalepp motion to adjourn at 6:45 pm carried with all ayes.
