Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2008-55 that one or more members of the Yuma City
Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures
will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION AND QUESTIONS ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS
I. CIELO VERDE SUBDIVISION PARK
Mr. Peter Smith would like to discuss the development of a park, including green space, on
City-owned property within the Cielo Verde Subdivision.
II. UNITEDHEALTHCARE DEPARTURE
Amanda Aguirre, President & CEO of Regional Center for Border Health, Inc., will give a
briefing on the current local statistics of members enrolled in the Market Place (AZ-ACA) in
Yuma County, number of uninsured population and how the departure of UnitedHealthcare
from the Market Place will impact the families in Yuma, as well as present other possible
options the citizen's may have.
III. EXECUTIVE SESSION
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal
advice for items included on the July 6, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting, the July 5, 2016 Regular
Worksession and the July 5, 2016 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A
(1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items:
A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding Yuma Mesa
Land LLC et al v. City of Yuma et al. (A.R.S 38-431.03 A3 & A4)

B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding the City of
Yuma v. PMG Partnership, LLC. (A.R.S 38-431.03 A3 & A4)
