Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2008-55 that one or more members of the Yuma City
Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures
will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION AND QUESTIONS ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS
I. THERE ARE NO SPEAKERS SCHEDULED AT THIS TIME.
II. TRANSITIONAL HEALTHCARE PARTNERSHIP
Fire Chief, Steve Irr, and staff will be presenting information on a pilot program that works in
collaboration with Yuma Regional Medical Center to reduce the readmission rate of patients in
certain high risk groups. The pilot program is a form of Community Paramedicine that assists
communities fill the healthcare gaps that have resulted from changes due to the Affordable
Care Act.
III. EXECUTIVE SESSION
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal
advice for items included on the November 2, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting, the November 1,
2016 Regular Worksession and the November 1, 2016 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S.
Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items:
A. There are no Executive Session agenda items scheduled at this time.
