Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the
Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing.
Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION AND QUESTIONS ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS
I. BONDING PLAN FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
Jerry LoCoco would like to speak to City Council regarding the lack of State support for the
City of Yuma related to the bonding plan for higher education signed by Governor Ducey,
the current water issues and the history of swept funds.
II. ZONING CHANGES TO GHIOTTO FAMILY PROPERTIES
Steve Shadle would like to discuss what the proposed zoning changes to the properties
located on the east side of Avenue B, north of 16th Street, will mean to the surrounding area
with regards to traffic, schools, sewer and public safety.
III. EXECUTIVE SESSION
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving
legal advice for items included on the February 7, 2018 Regular City Council Meeting, the
February 6, 2018 Regular Worksession and the February 6, 2018 Citizen’s Forum agendas,
pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items:
A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding the City of
Yuma v. PMG Partnership, LLC. (A.R.S 38-431.03 A3 & A4)
B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding Avenue 6E
Investments, et al v. COY (A.R.S 38-431.03 A3 and A4)
