OPEN MEETING LAW TRAINING Kathryn Marquoit, Assistant Ombudsman for Public Access, will present training on the Open Meeting Law that will include the role of the Arizona Ombudsman Citizens’ Aide, the role of the Attorney General’s Open Meeting Law Enforcement Team, public policy, overview and essential requirements of the open meeting law, public’s rights, use of e-mail and social media, executive sessions, recent statutory amendments, recent attorney general opinions, and penalties; followed by discussion/questions with City Council.
