REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF SEPTEMBER 2, 2015 City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov). II. MARINE AVIATION WEAPONS AND TACTICS SQUADRON ONE (MAWTS-1) EXERCISE Briefing by Colonel James Adams, Colonel James Wellons, Major Jonathan Bryant and Major Wilbur Oles of Marine Corps Air Station – Yuma, regarding an upcoming Weapons and Tactics Instructor exercise, followed by discussion and/or questions from the City Council. III. YUMA POLICE DEPARTMENT STRATEGIC MASTER PLAN An overview of the Yuma Police Departments Strategic Master Plan for years 2015-2020 will be give by Chief Lekan, Captain Hamilton, Captain Suho, Lieutenant Scanlan, Lieutenant Counts, Sr. Planner Noah Cullis and 911 Dispatch Supervisor Heather Pyeatt-Morris; followed by discussion and/or questions from the City Council. IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during the public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the September 1, 2015 Citizen's Forum and Regular Worksession agendas and the September 2, 2015, Regular Council Meeting agenda pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding the ADOT language on Avenue 3E/Highway 95 Intergovernmental Agreement. (ARS 38-431.03 A3 and A4) B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding Riverfront contracts, Phase I and Phase II, and legal issues related thereto.
