Zionsville Architectural Review Committee - Meeting Minutes Location: Zionsville Town Hall Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 ATTENDEES: Committee Members Present: • Todd Rottmann • Steve Freeland • David Rausch • Carol Mullet • Tom Casalini • Mike Billig • Steve Herron Committee Members Absent: • Cara Weber Others Present: • Wayne Delong, Town of Zionsville • Gene Thompson, Lions Club of Zionsville • Tom Robbins, Lions Club of Zionsville President Todd Rottmann opened the meeting at 7:37 am. A Quorum was present. MEETING AGENDA and MINUTES: A new agenda was reviewed, and a motion to adopt the agenda was made by Steve Freeland and seconded by Tom Casalini. Motion was approved unanimously. The September 24th meeting minutes were reviewed. A motion to adopt was made by Tom Casalini and seconded by Mike Billig. Motion was approved unanimously. NOTE: A revised version of the September 24th meeting minutes are additionally attached to correct errors discovered after committee adoption; Attendee names corrected, meeting minute approval dates corrected. REPORTS: The ZARC Financials were reviewed. The financial report was updated to reflect the amendment to the 170 S. Main project. $47,800.34 remain in the 2019 budget. The encumbered money for the Lions Club of Zionsville will be removed from the budget document. Necessary funds to allocate toward the Lions Club of Zionsville application will come from Town Council’s approval to increase the 2020 ZARC budget for this work specifically. OLD BUSINESS: 1. 170 South Main • David Rausch recused himself from the committee to present on behalf of project • Window repair/replace was scheduled to begin the coming weekend • No other work anticipated, and funding should be expected in the near future 2. Lions Club of Zionsville – 115 South Elm Street • Applicants and ZARC members discussed details associated with the project scope of work and what has been completed to-date, such as colors, windows/doors, and siding/trim. • ZARC has requested the applicant provide an updated agreement and application for currently anticipated scope of work, timing, and financial request. 3. 345 and 365 South Main Street • No Update – business will be removed from the agenda until an application is filed and future applicants re-join the committee with more information. NEW BUSINESS: None NEXT MEETING DATE: The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 24th, 2019 – however, this is subject to change at the November 26th meeting. ADJOURN: With no other new business, Tom Casalini made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Carol Mullet, at 8:04 am. Motion was approved unanimously. Respectfully submitted, Steve Herron
